About Our Club

The Monticello Camera club was formed in 2004 so 2024 marks our 20th anniversary as being a club.

We have seen many changes in the club throughout the years. We have seen changes in membership numbers, camera gear, advent of cell phone photography and topics of interest such as drones and many other things. We try to keep our topics of interest to members throughout all these changes.

Our club consists of a group of photography enthusiasts who range in skills and abilities as well as equipment used. We have a membership that uses film and digital cameras that range from point and shoot to high quality SLR and digital SLR as well as cell phones and tablets. Everyone of every skill level is Welcome. Please join us for our Monthly Camera Club Meetings. If you are interested in more information or would like to join, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Our monthly Camera Club meetings are held at River City Extreme on the third Wednesday of each month in Monticello, MN, from 7:00-9:00 PM. See the About Us page for directions and more information about how to find us. Our meetings are held in the dining area.
